of a complex evolutionary novelty.
The exact signals that induce the growth of
enthusiasm
are not known. Hatchling creatures of some
species
have a special kind of natal enthusiasm
which is pushed out when normal adult
enthusiasm
emerges.
Enthusiasm insulates us against water and
cold.
Individual enthusiasms play important roles
in camouflage, flight, and mating.
